Materials of the IX International Scientific and Practical Conference “History. Memory. People". Almaty, September 27, 2018

The conference materials reflect issues and problems related to the evacuation of people, industrial facilities, cultural institutions in connection with the tragic events of World War II, as well as the life history of the population forced to change their place of residence as a result of global political events. The book also presents the history of the fate of the Jews of Central Asia, Western Siberia, who survived the wars of the twentieth century, resettlement, evacuation and other trials. The collection reveals their contribution to the development of Kazakhstan.
