Today the Archive of the President was visited by colleagues from the United Arab Emirates, headed by the General Director of the National Library and Archives, Mr. Abdullah Majid Al-Ali. At the meeting, the director of the Archive A. Mustafina noted that the experience of the National Library and Archives of the United Arab Emirates in the use of modern archival technologies would be interesting and useful for the participants of the International Summer School.

Mr. Abdullah Majid Al-Ali spoke about the National Library and Archives of the UAE, that these are the oldest and richest archives among the countries of the Middle East. Today the Archive organizes local, regional and international conferences and symposiums. This September, Abu Dhabi will host the Congress of the International Council of Archives. Mr. Abdullah Majid Al-Ali was invited as a speaker at the VI International Summer School for Young Archivists. The guests took a tour of the Archive, they were shown the restoration and digitization of archival documents and the Reading Room of the Archive.
