On April 1, 2024, the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan once again expanded the scope of cooperation and signed a memorandum with the Central state archive of film, photo documents and sound recordings of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Central state archive of film, photo documents and sound recordings stores the masterpieces of our people. Among more than 300 thousand storage units, Kazakh folk music, folk songs, original works, operas, concert recordings of singers and film photographs are presented. The memorandum between the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Central state archive of film, photo documents and sound recordings addresses several issues. One of the main points is the implementation of joint projects. In this area, it is planned to organize scientific and practical conferences, round tables, and documentary exhibitions.

Attention is also brought to the issue of conducting courses to improve the qualifications of employees. That is, the two archives have the opportunity to exchange work experience and information in areas of professional activity that interest them. In order to coordinate scientific research at the national and international levels, joint expeditions, seminars, and symposia will be held. The director of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Mustafina and director of the Central state archive of film, photo documents and sound recordings of the Republic of Kazakhstan I. Iskakov took part in the signing ceremony of the memorandum. As a result of the meeting, it was also decided to implement several projects within the framework of cooperation. The parties agreed to organize a joint historical and documentary exhibition dedicated to the history of theatrical art in Kazakhstan, as well as to conduct a master class on the preservation and use of audiovisual documents.
