In order to establish cooperation and study the experience of Estonia in the field of archives, in the period of August 31 - September 2, the Kazakhstan's archivists visited the cities of Tallinn and Tartu. During the visit, Kazakhstani specialists had the opportunity to get acquainted with the activities of the National Archives of the Republic of Estonia, the Estonian Film Archive and the Tallinn City Archives, as well as exchange views with Estonian colleagues regarding the prospects for the development of the industry in the context of the introduction of advanced technologies.

The visit also contributed to the formation of working ties between the parties and the development of specific proposals for the content of future interaction. As director of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aliya Mustafina noted, Estonia's achievements in creating a digital space are of undoubted interest for Kazakhstan, which is expressed in the intention of the Kazakh side to develop further close cooperation with Estonian partners. In turn, the head of the National Archives of Estonia, Priit Pirsko, noted that such visits are necessary for the exchange of experience between countries and the development of professional skills among archival specialists.
