The VII Summer School for Young Archivists has ended. At the closing of the forum, Director of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Mustafina, in her speech, thanked all colleagues who took part in the forum. The director expressed confidence that the participants will be able to use the newly acquired knowledge in practice at their workplace. She thanked Kyrgyz and Uzbek colleagues who always support this event, and expressed special gratitude to the speakers who shared their knowledge with the participants. In addition, words of gratitude were addressed to the students of the Summer School who took an active part in the projects.

It is safe to say that during the summer school, participants expanded their knowledge by learning about the experiences of their colleagues, discussing current issues and developing their own opinions on the issues of replenishment of archives in the context of modern digital transformation, generating innovative ideas for the development of archives, implementing projects and learning about best archival practices. All colleagues who took part in the summer school were awarded certificates. A sightseeing tour of Almaty was organized for guests from foreign countries and other regions. The forum participants decided to meet next year, to share once again their thoughts on preservation of the written history of the world and continue rational dialogue.
