On August 27, 2024, the Director of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aliya Mustafina, met with the newly appointed Director General of the Office of the State Archive of the President of the Republic of Turkey, Muhammet Ahmet Tokdemir, and congratulated him on his appointment to such a responsible position, and also wished him success in his future work. During the meeting, it was noted that the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is ready to implement joint professional and research projects with Turkish colleagues.

In addition, members of the Kazakhstani delegation got acquainted with the work of the Document Restoration Department of the Ottoman Archives. The Head of the department, Ali Toköz, acquainted Kazakhstani archivists with the main areas of work that he manages, and then invited them to the document restoration center to exchange experience. The center's restoration specialists clearly demonstrated methods for restoring missing parts of documents and preventing further spread of mold from the damaged areas.
