On April 25-26, 2024, a delegation of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences headed by the deputy director of the V. Golovachev visited Almaty. On April 26, the delegation was received by the director of the Archive of the President A. Mustafina.

During the conversation, the parties exchanged information about the activities of the institutions of the two countries, as well as discussed the perspectives and directions of cooperation. The meeting ended with the signing of a memorandum of cooperation, which cemented reached agreements.
