Experts discussed the program of the unified humanitarian space of the CIS

On November 26, the Russian State University for the Humanities hosted a meeting of the CIS base organizations dedicated to higher educational institutions' humanitarian cooperation. The main focus was on the development of cooperation for 2025-2030 in the context of the Interstate Program for the Formation of a Unified Educational Space of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The meeting was opened by the Scientific Director of the RSUH, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences E. I. Pivovar. He presented the results of the coordination activities of the CIS base organizations, emphasizing the importance of continuity and further development of joint educational initiatives.

The meeting was attended by the Head of the Center for Applied and Scientific Projects K. Alimgazinov, who shared with the participants the experience of joint work of the Archives of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian State University for the Humanities. Among the most significant initiatives is the Summer School of Young Archivists, implemented in cooperation with the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the Russian State University for the Humanities. The project, which is already 8 years old, has given a start to the professional growth of more than 1,000 young archival specialists from the CIS countries. The meeting was a significant step in the development of the integration potential of educational structures of the CIS. Its results emphasized the importance of strengthening academic cooperation, sharing experience and working together within the framework of the updated program for 2025-2030.
