On the eve of the II Congress of Archivists "Heritage Institutions on the Path to Sustainable Development", a postage stamp was presented, the release of which was timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The release of this stamp is a sign of deep respect for the work of domestic archivists, because for the first time a Kazakhstani postage stamp is dedicated to the archive. The images on the postage stamps are a chronicle of significant historical events and achievements.

After being cancelled with a special postmark the stamp acquires a collector's value, as it will no longer be used for postal purposes, but will become a commemorative object, like those historical, important documents stored in the Archive. The stamp will be put into operation tomorrow, from October 1. The total circulation of the stamp is 5,000 copies, the face value is 500 tenge. The ceremony was held in the Archive of the President. It was attended by the Director of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Mustafina and the Chairman of the Board of JSC "Kazpost" A. Zhanasova. It should be noted that the II Congress of archivists "Heritage Institutes on the Path to Sustainable Development of Society" will be held on October 1-4 in Almaty.
