Aliya Mustafina Joins the Editorial Board of the International Journal Comma

The Director of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aliya Mustafina, has become a member of the editorial board of Comma, a journal published by the International Council on Archives (ICA). Her appointment was announced in an official letter from the journal’s Editor-in-Chief Forget Chaterera Zambuko, "Your expertise and commitment to the archival profession align perfectly with our mission. Your participation will play a critical role in ensuring Comma continues to uphold the highest standards of scholarship and innovation," the letter stated

As a member of the editorial board, Aliya Mustafina will be involved in reviewing submitted articles, advising on the context of issues, contributing to approval of final versions of publications, representing Comma during ICA conferences and in collaboration with the organization’s branches, participating in the selection of Editorial Board candidates, contributing to the development of editorial guidelines, and attending Editorial Board meetings. This collaboration not only supports the development of the journal but strengthens Kazakhstan’s position in the international archival community. The participation of Kazakhstani archivists in international projects facilitates the exchange of experience and the implementation of best practices in the national archival sector, ultimately contributing to the preservation and promotion of the country’s historical and documentary heritage. This appointment term will last for four years.
