On March 12, the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was visited by guests from the Consulate General of Hungary in Almaty, Consul Peter Imre Siklos, together with his spouse Anna Siklosne Kosztricz. During the meeting, Director of the Archive A. Mustafina and Mr. P. Siklos exchanged views on archival practices in Kazakhstan and Hungary. The prospects and potential opportunities for future cooperation between the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and archival institutions of Hungary were also discussed.

Aliya Khusainovna invited her Hungarian colleagues to take part in the II Congress of Archivists of Kazakhstan with international participation on the topic “Heritage Institutions on the Path to Sustainable Development of Society”, which will be held in Almaty on October 1–4, 2024. To conclude the visit, guests were given a tour, including visiting to the Archives reading room and libraries.
