On the second day of the Congress, a round table was held on the topic of "Heritage Institutions in International Dialogue and the Legal System". Head of the Center for the Study of Materials on Political Repressions of the 20th Century of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan G. Nurymbetov, Professor of the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium) A. Velemeno and Research Fellow of the Institute for the Analysis of Changes in Contemporary and Historical Societies (IACCHOS) T. Sirbu. The speeches emphasized the importance of building an international dialogue in the field of archival affairs and law. Cooperation between archivists makes it possible to improve the quality of preservation of archival artifacts and expand the source base of historical research. Joint publications of scientists and archivists from Central Asian countries are necessary. Such work will ensure a high level of information exchange.
