On November 20, the Russian State Humanitarian University held a scientific conference with international participation dedicated to the issues of studying the current state, problems and prospects for the development of the scientific school of records management. Particular attention was paid to the theory and methodology of records management, in particular scientific approaches to conducting an examination of the value of electronic documents, the functioning of social media in the document environment, as well as the formation of a conceptual apparatus in regulatory documents in the field of record keeping.

Director of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Mustafina addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, where she noted the importance of the topic under consideration, and shared the Archive's experience in organizing the training of young archivists, familiarizing them with new trends in document management. At the end of the scientific forum, the project manager, Professor M. Larin, emphasized the need to continue research on this topic and organize an exchange of experience and new ideas for future scientific research.
