An important component of the work of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is interaction with acquisition sources. Archive Fund Formation Service carries out a set of activities in organizations that are sources of acquisition, including seminars, meetings, consulting, surveys, etc. In accordance with the plans of joint events Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with organizations - sources of acquisition, organized seminars in Astana, held from April 16th to 19th, for employees of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Office of the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The events were attended by records management inspectors, employees of HR and financial services, and heads of departments. The lecturers were employees of the Archive of the President K. Murzabekova, A. Ermaganbetova and G. Kudaibergenova. In their speeches, archivists noted the importance of updating the knowledge and skills of employees in documentation matters, and emphasized the importance of archival work in the documentation management system.

During the seminars, a wide range of issues related to the organization of documentation support were discussed. Archive employees spoke about changes in regulatory legal documents governing archival issues. In the presentation reports of the lecturers “Methodology for compiling and assigning a nomenclature of cases. Formation of documents into files”, “Basic requirements for organizing work with documents of limited distribution” and “Examination of the value of documents and preparation of transfer of files for departmental storage”, emphasis is placed on the features of office work and archival storage in government agencies. Using practical examples, explanations are given for compiling inventories of permanent and temporary storage periods. The practice of using lists of documents with storage periods, including when compiling a nomenclature of cases in organizations, was also explained. In the final block of the seminars, “Q&A” explanations are given on the questions that arose and the results of the events are summed up.
