Armenian colleagues celebrated the 100-th archival anniversary
From March 26 to 28, the international conference of archivists “Archives: Memory of Humankind” was held in Yerevan, organized in collaboration with UNESCO and dedicated to the 100-th anniversary of the National Archives of Armenia. The event was attended by leaders and representatives of UNESCO, the International Council of Archives, archives of Bulgaria, Greece, India, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, USA, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Deputy Director of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan D. Abdukadyrova conveyed congratulations from the Director of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Mustafina to the staff of the National Archives of Armenia. An invitation was also announced to take part in the work of the II Congress of Archivists of Kazakhstan with international participation on the topic «Heritage Institutions on the way to sustainable development of society», which is scheduled to be held in Almaty on October 1-4, 2024.
Within the framework of the international conference, the National Archives of Armenia presented an exhibition of archival documents, and an album of especially valuable documents from the funds of the National Archives of Armenia was published. An important topic of the conference was the experience exchange, participants expressed the hope that the expansion of cooperation between history keepers will continue at various professional platforms. Congratulations to the National Archives of Armenia on its 100-th anniversary!
