Today, November 22, a scientific and practical conference «Архив – 2025: нәтижелер мен мәселелер» was held, devoted to the issues of documents related to Kazakhstan located abroad. The event, organized by the Committee on Archives, Documentation and Book Business of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan, brought together leading specialists in archiving, including representatives of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the conference, the participants discussed key issues in the development of archives, including the identification, digitization and preservation of unique documents related to Kazakhstan located abroad.

Experts talked about scientific expeditions, researches held in the archives of Russia, Uzbekistan and other countries, as well as prospects of digitization and ensuring openness of archives. Special attention was paid to the modernization of national archives. As part of the conference The historical-documentary exhibition "Archive-2025" was organized as well as presentation of the collection of documents "Materials and documents of the Russian State Military Historical Archive on 19th century's history of Kazakhstan". The event was concluded with the award ceremony for archival workers who made a significant contribution to the development of archival field.
