A guidebook on the documentaries from the “Kazakhfilm” movie studio has been added to the library collection of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. On March 6, 2024, the Central State Archive of Film, Photo Documents and Sound Recordings of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a presentation of Guidebook to the Documentary Films of the “Kazakhfilm” movie studio (years 1925-1995).

The reference publication presents documentaries and film essays telling about the development and achievements of Kazakhstan over the specified period in the fields of industry, agriculture, science and culture. Speaking at the event, the head of the Service for the organization of the use of documents of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan B. Kasenov noted that availability of documentary chronicles is a great luck in the preparation of archival exhibitions and a valuable resource for researching the history and culture of Kazakhstan.
