"The history of my family in archival documents"
The Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces the Contest of educational and research works "The history of my family in archival documents" for secondary school students.
The aim of the contest is the intellectual and personal development of students, mastering their methods and techniques of research work in the field of history, attracting youth to study and preserve national history, the historical and cultural heritage of Kazakhstan, documentary sources on national history and the history of their family.
Students of secondary school of Almaty, from Grades 6-11 can take part in the contest. The contest’s commission evaluates the works of the participants and determines the winners.
Applicants can submit papers with topics in the following areas:
1. Family archive - the key to the ancestry
2. The tragedy of human destiny
3. The Great Patriotic War in the history of my family
4. My family in the history of labor glory
5. My family in the history of the city
6. The family is the keeper of traditions
7. My family's contribution to the culture of Kazakhstan
The deadline for submitting an application for participation in the contest is March 1, 2023.
The contest entries must be sent to the following email address: umc.aprk@gmail.com until April 10, 2023.
Working languages: Kazakh, Russian.
The awarding of the laureates and participants of the contest will take place in the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
