On April 10, 2024, the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan expanded the scope of cooperation with educational institutions by signing a memorandum with the International Information Technology University. The memorandum on behalf of the parties was signed by the Director of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, A. Mustafina and Chairman of the Board - Rector of the International Information Technology University A. Khikmetov. The International Information Technology University, founded in 2009, is one of the leading higher education institutions in Kazakhstan in the IT field. IITU has international institutional accreditation from the German agency ASIIN, which indicates the university’s compliance with international quality standards and ensures the recognition of its graduates’ diplomas abroad. It currently enrolls more than 5,000 students in bachelor, master and doctoral degree programs. One of the main points of the concluded memorandum of cooperation is the implementation of joint projects to develop the digitalization of archives, develop programs and applications that will allow the Archive to improve its work in matters of innovation.
